Overcoming Tiredness: The Myth of Sleep Deprivation

I often tell myself that I don’t get enough sleep because my daughter has always struggled with sleeping since she was born. But then, how am I able to do this session right now? How am I able to think clearly, run a business, take care of my health, and do all the things that need to be done if I’m not getting enough sleep?

If I wasn’t getting enough sleep, we should see quite catastrophic manifestations of that in my life—like crashing my car, losing my job, or something similar. We should see someone who’s clearly sleep-deprived. But no, I’m just a bit tired while I do everything. That’s the truth.

It’s like people who consider themselves to be losers.

This kind of self-assessment often leads people to hate themselves. They think of themselves as a loser.

But if you’re one of those people listening to me right now, think about this: however old you are, that’s how many years you’ve survived.
