You don’t need to “fake it till you make it”.
You don’t need to suppress your emotions or pretend to be something you’re not.
What you can’t avoid is experiencing discomfort. There is a price to pay for being confident, and that price is uncomfortable emotional experience.
You will have to feel things that are unpleasant. You have to pay up front for the longer-term reward.
It’s not about huge achievements.
You don’t have to do massive, impressive acts to build your confidence.
While there will be times when that happens, it’s really about the tiny little decisions you make every single day. That’s where the war is won.
